DrJessica Lazarus

Jessica has a broad interest in both Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) and Neuroscience.

Jessica is interested in developing cutting-edge methods to enhance teaching and learning in Medicine and Science, including the use of AI technology and digital/blended methods. She is additionally interested in using and developing strategies from cogntivie science and educational psychology that can optimise student experience, well-being, and engagement in Higher Education.

Jessica is interested in healthy ageing, especially in relation to brain ageing and the discovery of biomarkers of optimal health. She is further interested in the relationship between human longevity and contributing environmental/lifestyle factors, as well as the related role of epigenetic changes and microbiomes (e.g., the gut-brain axis).
