Research projects & supervision summary

My current research projects focus on organ preservation and machine perfusion, outcomes in liver and kidney transplantation, and complex HPB and oesophageal surgery. I currently supervise several HDR and MD projects, including PhD and MPhil studies on normothermic perfusion in kidney and pancreas transplantation, decision-making in pancreatic cancer surgery, video-based consent, and post-oesophagectomy quality of life, as well as MD projects now moving towards publication. These projects are collaborative, involving colleagues in nephrology, radiology and surgery across Sydney Local Health District, Sydney University and partner institutions.
