Jane Strachan

I am part of the Business School's Dalyell Program team, which is dedicated to supporting Dalyell Scholars throughout their undergraduate studies. The team plays a central role in delivering a distinctive educational experience for high-achieving students by providing opportunities for enriched learning, fostering academic excellence, and facilitating meaningful connections with industry and real-world practice.

This involves designing and coordinating co-curricular and extracurricular activities, engaging with academic and professional stakeholders, mentoring and advising students, and creating pathways for scholars to develop their leadership, critical thinking, and professional capabilities. Through these initiatives, the Dalyell Program seeks to cultivate an intellectually curious and engaged student community while enhancing students' readiness to contribute meaningfully to their professions and society more broadly. My role has involved contributing to these objectives by supporting student engagement, program delivery, and the ongoing development of opportunities that add value to the student experience and strengthen the reputation of both the Dalyell Program and the Business School.
