RESEARCH INTERESTs

James is involved in a wide range of research projects focused on improving human resilience to extreme heat across the lifespan. His expertise lies in paediatric and occupational thermoregulation, with a particular emphasis on protecting vulnerable populations from the adverse impacts of heat stress during everyday activities.
