Research projects & supervision summary

My current research focus is on the use of large linked data to evaluate various outcomes for medicine-related harm, including self-harm and suicide. I have a particular focus on the determinants of repeated elf-harm. Our work uses the Poisoning And enVenomation linkage to evaluate Outcomes and clinical Variation in Australia (PAVLOVA, https://doi.org/10.1080/15563650.2024.2398119)--one of the largest linkages of poisoning data in the world.

Supervision: Students wishing to do a PhD focus on the use of linked data to improve health outcomes are welcome to apply.
