Jacopo Giaretta

Dr Jacopo Giaretta is an early career researcher at the school of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Sydney and a chemical engineer.  Dr Jacopo Giaretta earned a Bachelor degree in Chemical and Material Engineering and a Master degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Padua. He thencompleted a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular engineering at the University of Sydney in 2023 on developing cost-effective and flexible sensors for POC applicationa in healthcare, food, and environmental monitoring. Since then, his field of work has involved the development os sensors and biosensors for various applications, including healtchare, and the development of materials with improved properties for applications in sensing, healthcare, and blood-contacting devices.
