10,000 Miles Away: Grotowski in Australia

A project investigating the visits of Polish theatre director and teacher, Jerzy Grotowski, to Australia in the early 1970s, and the impact of those visits on Australian theatre and performance-making.

Sergeant Snow White

In 1943, a group of refugee aliens -most of them 'Dunera Boys', created and performed a revue titled Sergeant Snow White at the Union Repetory Theatre, Melbourne University. A collabroation with Jospeh Toltz and Seamas Sparks, this project investigates, in and through performance practice, this extraordinary work, the circumstances in which it was created, and its complex-and overlooked- legacy.
