Non-dimensionalisation, preprocessing, and reduction of multiple-timescale chemical reaction networks: Development of rigorous, efficient, and model-independent computational methods for the automated non-dimensionalisation, preprocessing, and reduction of high-dimensional chemical reaction networks (CRNs), with a particular focus on coordinate-independent geometric singular perturbation theory (GSPT).
Mechanistic modelling of complex biological systems: Development and analysis of mathematical models to investigate nonlinear biological processes, particularly the interactions between cellular populations, biochemical signalling pathways, and regulatory mechanisms.
Cancer modelling and treatment optimisation: Mathematical modelling of tumour–immune interactions, cancer immunotherapy, and treatment response, with an emphasis on understanding underlying mechanisms and optimising therapeutic strategies.
