Following the publication of the first two volumes of his major research project on the mediology of theatre (Die Entweltlichung der Bühne: Zur Mediologie des Theaters der klassischen Episteme, 2015); and Verweltlichung der Bühne?: Zur Mediologie des Theaters der Moderne, 2019), Deiters’ research focuses now on the neo-avant-garde theatre of the early 21^st century. This will result in the publication of the third and final monograph of that series, the first volume of which attracted very positive reviews in journals such as the Kleist Jahrbuch (2017), the Goethe Yearbook (2018), and Études Germaniques (2019).
