RESEARCH INTERESTs
Global health, tuberculosis, diagnostics, epidemiology, knowledge synthesis, study design.
Methods I use include diagnostic clinical trials, knowledge synthesis, and statistical techniques (e.g., Bayesian latent class analysis). I also work on refining and applying methodology to improve the quality of the TB diagnostics evidence base, including thinking about study design issues for diagnostics. I'm increasingly interested in predictive modeling and demonstrating test impact beyong accuracy.
Virtually all of my work includes international collaborators, including colleagues from Vietnam, Cambodia, Germany, Canada, and elsewhere.
