A/Prof Patrick is passionate about training young researchers to address the critical shortage of bioinformatics expertise in Australia. He is currently mentoring 7 postgraduate students and has facilitated the timely completion of 4 PhD, 1 MPhil student and 14 Honours theses and mentored 4 Dalyell and 7 Denison Scholarship students.
