RESEARCH INTERESTs
Dr. Byington's research has considered team performance, coworker satisfaction, and individual differences (e.g. personality, gender, age, IQ, nationality). Her research has also examined ways to improve the reliability of management science, overcoming the “research-practice gap”, and includes bibliometric reviews of large research literatures (e.g. the Human Resource Management field, Careers research). Her work has appeared in Research in Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, the Journal of Vocational Behavior, Human Resource Management Review, and Academy of Management Learning & Education.
