DrEduardo Uquillas

Dr. Eduardo Uquillas, a distinguished alumnus of Universidad Mayor, Chile, completed his graduation in 2007. He then spent the next three years as a small animal clinician, during which he also earned a postgraduate diploma in small animal veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia. In 2010, he embarked on a residency in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia at the University of Sydney, in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania, which he successfully completed in 2015.

After his residency, Dr. Uquillas remained committed to the University of Sydney Veterinary Teaching Hospitals, where he provided anaesthesia services and tutored undergraduate students. In 2020, he rose to the position of Senior Lecturer at the University, taking charge of the DVM anaesthesia curriculum and leading the Anaesthesia and Analgesia services at the University of Sydney Teaching Hospitals.

Dr. Uquillas has been actively involved in research at UVTHC, with his scholarly contributions being published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals.
