RESEARCH INTERESTs

My research is concerned with promoting healthy societies by developing insights into the ways dental practitioner education programs can best prepare graduates to skilfully meet the oral health needs of society. My research impacts the fundamental ways we approach dental education. In particular, it recognises that it is the ways students make connections with the course materials and their immediate and wider educational and societal contexts that matter. It is these experiences that influence the personal and professional development of future dentists and oral health practitioners.
