BIO

Daniela is a researcher specialising in computational modelling, with a focus on HPV and cervical cancer. She applies mathematical models to simulate HPV transmission and cervical cancer progression, providing evidence to inform prevention and control strategies, with a focus on low- and lower-middle-income countries. Her work has contributed to several high-impact projects, including the development of the Cervical Cancer Elimination Planning Tool (https://gco.iarc.who.int/ept/), modelling to assess the projected health and economic impact of potential therapeutic HPV vaccines, and modelling to support both global and national policy recommendations.
