I research and teach in the area of Old English language and literature.

My research interests range across the literature and culture of early medieval England, commonly known as the Anglo-Saxon period.

My current projects include research on Old English literature and history, early medieval literature and science, and theology and early medieval literature. I have published extensively on Old English biblical poetry, early Old English prose, and science in early medieval literature.
