RESEARCH INTERESTs

Clio Cresswell is a member of the Applied Mathematics Research Group, carrying out research in the area of Integrable Systems. The theory of integrable systems ranges widely in mathematics and physics. The study of integrable systems unveils intriguing and beautiful geometrical and topological aspects of fundamental equations, often with surprising applications.

Specific research areas: discrete integrable systems, Painlevé equations, (quantum) monodromy, soliton equations, topology of integrable systems, Riemann-Hilbert problems.

Clio's research aligns with the Faculty of Science Research Strengths - Understanding the Universe, Fundamental Laws of Nature, Complex Systems, Cultivating Scientific Capability, Data and Decisions, National Security.
