Chidozie teaches tax law and corporations law at the University of Sydney Law School. His research focuses on international tax law, policy, and practice, with particular emphasis on international tax competition. His work investigates international tax competition, especially through corporate  income taxation, and examines appropriate policy responses. His research outputs include peer‑reviewed publications on a range of tax law topics.

 

Chidozie earned his educational qualifications from the University of Lagos, Nigeria; Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), United Kingdom; and the University of Auckland, New Zealand. At QMUL, he was the Centre for Commercial Law Studies/University of Lagos LLM scholar for the 2014/2015 academic year. He was also a University of Auckland doctoral scholar from 2016 to 2020. Before joining the University of Sydney Law School, Chidozie was a postdoctoral research fellow in international tax law at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. He has taught tax law at the University of Auckland, New Zealand and Stellenbosch University and worked as a legal practitioner in Nigeria.
