Dr Charlotte Verrall is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney School of Medicine and Clinical Neuropsychologist at the Department of Cardiology, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Rehab2Kids, Sydney Children's Hospital. Her primary area of research focuses on brain health and neuropsychological outcomes in people living with complex congenital heart disease, with special interest in cognitive and psychological intervention. She is a lead investigator on the first study exploring longitudinal brain health and cognitive outcomes in young people living with a Fontan circulation, in addition to the world's largest multicentre congenital heart disease exercise clinical trial - the Congenital Heart Fitness Intervention Trial (CH-FIT).
