BIO

Dr. Chandrima Sengupta is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at ACRF Image X Institute, University of Sydney, working on motion management technologies in Radiation therapy and clinical implementation of these technologies in clinical trials.

She completed her B.Sc in Physics with first class Honours and M.Sc. in Physics with first class from University of Calcutta, India. Her PhD work focussed on developing Australia’s first radioactive ion beam capability (SOLenoidal Exotic Rare isOtOpe separator, SOLEROO) at the Australian National University and understanding the nuclear reaction processes of the unstable nucleus 8Li using SOLEROO.

In her spare time, Chandrima enjoys reading books, watching movies, and, travelling.
