BIO
Dr Brenda Maria Rosales is a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the Sydney School of Public Health.
Dr Rosales completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Medicine) in 2021, investigating cancer outcomes in people living with kidney failure. Her current work leverages clinical, biomarker, and health administrative data to identify inequities in health service delivery and health outcomes for people with multimorbidity. She works with healthcare providers, consumers, and government stakeholders to make healthcare more accessible for women, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and those of lower socioeconomic standing. Her work has informed clinical guidelines and practice changes in cancer care for people with kidney failure and health service delivery for deceased organ donation. She was the 2021 Sanofi Women in Transplantation Postdoctoral Fellow, funded by The Transplantation Society and has been awarded >$210,000 in fellowships, awards, and research grants.
