BIO

Belinda Kennedy has been a registered nurse for over 25 years. Starting as a registered nurse in 1997, Belinda has worked primarily in critical care throughout her clinical career and is now a part-time Research Fellow at the University of Sydney.  

 

After commencing her career in intensive care, she moved into emergency nursing in 2004. Over her career, she has worked in a variety of clinical roles in emergency and trauma nursing. Belinda completed her PhD in September 2025 at The University of Sydney, evaluating the implementation of the HIRAID emergency nursing framework across 11 emergency departments in the Southern NSW Local Health District.
