Project Opportunities
Title: Green Hydrogen and Renewable Fuels Production
Summary of opportunity:
Multiple PhD scholarships in “Green Hydrogen and Renewable Fuels Production” at the University of Sydney.
Opportunity synopsis:
Four PhD scholarships are available immediately in Prof Antonio Tricoli’s and Dr. Fengwang Li’s groups in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney.
The students are expected to conduct postgraduate research for 3 to 3.5 years in sustainable production of renewable fuels, with focus on the electrolysis of water and electrochemical conversion of small molecules (such as carbon dioxide, water) to value-added chemicals.

Project Opportunities
Title: Lowering the cost of proton exchange eater electrolysis systems
Summary of opportunity:
The project will develop noble-metal-free catalysts, in addition to high-conductivity membranes and porous transport layers for reduced cost pure water and saline/seawater hydrogen production using proton exchange membrane electrolysers.
---------------Current Research Projects----------
Open PhD and MPhil positions are available in the area of Sustainability, Energy Conversion and Storage and Biomolecular Sensing. Please reach out to discuss possible projects and supervision.
