DrAnthony Liu

Dr Liu is Senior Lecturer – Paediatrics at the Sydney Medical School Nepean. He is also affiliated with the Charles Perkins Centre Nepean and an Honorary Associate in General Medicine at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network.

Graduating from the University of Sydney, Dr Liu pursued his Paediatric career, training at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children (Children’s Hospital at Westmead). After obtaining his Masters in Public Health he commenced his scientific career at Nepean Hospital in 2004. With his passion for teaching, he went on to complete a Masters in Medical Education. Since his academic employment at Nepean Hospital, he became Head of Department of Paediatrics from 2005 for the next 12 years. He was heavily involved in developing, strengthening and planning Paediatric services for the Nepean Blue Mountains area health. In addition to this, he has continued to have multiple teaching and supervisory responsibilities at the University of Sydney.
