Research projects & supervision summary

Research Projects

2023 - 2026 The Great Barrier Reef in 2100 (funded by ARC Discovery Program) project led by Professor Ana Vila-Concejo (USYD) and other internal and external collaborators: This research will develop models to quantify the biotic/abiotic stressors on the GBR, supporting predicitions of the GBR eco-morphodynamic evolution until 2100 under the IPCC climate scenarios.

2023 - 2025 Coastal Monitoring of Coral Islands Training (funded by Department of Foreign Affairs, Geoscience Australia Marine Resources Initiative) led by Prof. Elaine Baker and Prof. Ana Vila Concejo. This project involves capacity building of international participants from Southeast Asia countries on fieldwork and data processing on coral reef and islands, with focus on the eco-morphodynamic processes of these ecosystems.
