BIO

Amanda Thijsen is a Research Associate in Implementation Science, specialising in the translation of research evidence into routine healthcare policy and practice. Her research interests include the implementation and evaluation of complex health interventions, knowledge translation, blood donor health, and strategies to improve sustainability. Amanda’s doctoral work focused on examining knowledge translation in transfusion medicine. Her current work focuses on scaling up cascade testing for familial hypercholesterolaemia in primary and tertiary care.
