Dr. Ali Gholamrezaei studied Medicine and worked as a General Physician between 2010 and 2015. He also worked as a Clinical Research Associate in Medical Research Institutes for about 10 years and led and contributed to interdisciplinary researches in chronic medical conditions. He conducted his PhD research at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven, Belgium) between 2015 and 2019 and conducted multiple experiments on breathing exercises as self-management techniques for pain and the underlying psychophysiological mechanisms. Dr. Ali Gholamrezaei is currently a Research Fellow at the Pain Management Research Institute working on development and evaluation of digital behavioral interventions for chronic pain management. He is also interested in Experimental Health Psychology and Psychophysiology and has international collaborations in these fields.
