Title: Comparative and International Education

Summary of opportunity:

 

Alex is Associate Professor in Comparative and International Education in the Sydney School of Education and Social work. 

Alex explores issues of equity and social justice in education and international development policy and discourse in her research. She investigates global social policies and education through collaborative and discourse analytic approaches, having conducted research into 'post-2015' education and the Sustainable Development Goals in the South Pacific, building on prior work on Education for All (EFA) in Southeast Asia and the South Pacific.
